Theunicornhunter 2 Posted December 21, 2004 Tomorrow is the winter solstice - for some people is a religious celebration for others an astronomical event on the caledar. Personally, I think it is a day to celebrate because it marks the longest night of the year and we will gradually have more minutes of daylight each ensuing day. I'm sorry I hate winter - particularly the short hours of daylight. Yeah for the arrival of longer days.
BakulaBabe 2 Posted December 21, 2004 It's a religious holiday for me, but I'm still not sure how I'll celebrate it. Although I don't mind winter since I live in Southern California, I'm looking forward to the longer days.
Wishfire 2 Posted December 21, 2004 Look at it this way... No matter what you're believe, winter solstice, being the longest night, makes it the BEST NIGHT FOR A PARTY!!!
Odie 0 Posted December 21, 2004 (edited) For me in Japan today it is the Winter Solstice. I love Winter Solstice. I like it when the days start to get longer. Soon I won't have go to work in the dark. Edited December 21, 2004 by Odie
