The events of the Vulcan reformation arc

I was looking at some TV tome entry for Star Trek TNG and came upon a note about the episode Gambit. It reads:

 

The T'Karath sanctuary and mention of the "underground sanctuary for one of the factions during the last civil war" that was also "abandoned for centuries" is a reference to the events of the Star Trek: Enterprise episodes "The Forge", "Awakening" and "Kir'Shara".

While they point out that Enterprise is connecting back to TNG, I found this to be really cool. It makes this arc all the more plausible.

Yes isn't that the cat's whiskers! We watched those episodes (Gambit pts 1&2) during the week leading up to Awakening, we were very excited about the connection; seems some of what is happening on ENT has been in the planning for a while now.

That is one of the things that I like the most about Enterprise is that it gives a chance to fill in some of the holes left in the history for the time. I am also very glad to finally see more of Vulcan.
