Takara_Soong 4 Posted November 22, 2004 Congratulations to the Toronto Argos for winning the 92nd Grey Cup Championship yesterday. They defeated the British Columbia Lions 27-19. Argo quarterback Damon Allen completed 23 of 34 passes for 299 yards and one touchdown while diving in from one yard out for two more scores. He was named the game's most outstanding player for the third time, after leading the Edmonton Eskimos to Grey Cup victories in 1987 and 1993. If his name sounds familiar to NFL fans, he is the younger brother of Hall of Famer Marcus Allen.

Jack_Bauer 1 Posted November 22, 2004 It was a great game, Damon Allen was amazing. I was really happy for the Argos and Pinball Clemons (the best man in Toronto sports by far). I don't usually follow football but I have more so since the NHL Lockout (WHY? WHY?) and since I started university at Wilfrid Laurier University. Our team was undefeated all year and won the Ontario Championship (Yates Cup) but lost in the Uteck bowl to Laval. Oh well. The Argos winning makes up for it. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGOS!
