BlueCrystal 0 Posted October 25, 2004 and I mean holidays not that fancy English way of saying a vacation. How come there really isn't a celebration of Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Pass Over, or Halloween. I know that some holidays would be meaningless to aliens and not everyone shares the same religious beliefs but still you would think that upon occasion they would celebrate something. Takara_Soong 4 Posted October 28, 2004 On TNG there was mention of some holidays being celebrated. They just didn't focus any stories on it. The Hindu Festival of Lights was mentioned in Data's Day and in Generations there was the Christmas scene when Picard was in the Nexus.

ussacclaim 0 Posted October 28, 2004 Don't forget Captain Picard Day! 276208[/snapback] Yeah, and Picard said there would now be a Commander Riker Day too. I still like the first scene in that episode when Riker almost stole that Picard action-figure.
