Child Star - Abigail Breslin

I've noticed this little actress on a couple of series lately and her performance was just incredible. Of course the shows were dramatic and the plots themselves were intense: Law & Order: SVU and NCIS. Still her performances just ripped my heart out.

 

She has been in other things that I either didn't see or just don't remember - maybe it was the intensity of these episodes but she really touched me.

 

Has anyone else seen any of these performances? I'm not used to seeing kids that can act that well in dramatic roles.

I saw her in the two programs you are talking about and I agree. It is rare to see a child who has such a central role in the plot and has to express so many different and intense emotions hold their own with more seasoned actors.

 

BTW, her brother is Spenser Breslin who has appeared in a number of movies. Probably the most know was The Cat In The Hat in which he played Conrad.
