He had the great honor of attending The James Doohan Farewell Convention & Tribute, which was held on August 27th-30th. Mr. Gregory talked to us about it earlier today in the chat room. ONE LAST TIME James Doohan who of course played "Scotty" on Star Trek, at 84, was recently diagnosed to have Alzheimer's disease, and who also has Parkinson's disease and diabetes, has retired from public life after his Farwell Convention & Tribute at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
