Q stole my bike 0 Posted August 11, 2004 Well, I used paintshop pro 8 *my baby* so my technique would really only work with layer supporting programs, but anyway, here's how I did it: -copied and pasted original pic as a new image -made a new layer and traced the original -deleted the first layer (with the original on it) -filled it in with a silvery/metalic gradient (changed the angle for different parts of the ship) -for the nacelles I used the paintbrush tool;with the hardness turned down all the way, and the transparency turned down a little -and finally used the lighten/darken tool for shading Then I just saved it as a transparent gif
