Angela 1 Posted August 2, 2004 I had a random thought whilst reading movie scripts. PDF files are like a word program but you have to use adobe, it also seems to shrink the files siize too. Anyhow was thinking, for those of you who like to read articles scripts, etc, what format do you prefer, PDF or htlm/doc?
scaleman 0 Posted August 2, 2004 It depends on what i am going to do with it. If i'm going to modify the file, doc. But if i'm just reading it mht or pdf works fine. Btw, you can make pdf's without buying adobe's software. One is available at http://www.cutepdf.com/ but you may need another file to utilize it. Another which you can use without an extra file is Virtual PDF Printer, but that leaves a watermark.
WEAREBORG4102 0 Posted August 2, 2004 PDF can give you certain abilities that doc can't give you but you change formats easily.
