Shrek 0 Posted June 26, 2004 Has anyone seen Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story yet? I just saw it and it was funny. I give it 9.5/10 stars! A small local gym is threatened with extinction by a gleaming sports and fitness palace unless a group of social rejects can rise to victory in the ultimate dodgeball competition. Jeanway 0 Posted June 26, 2004 I always thought the term "DodgeBall" was kind of an oxymoron. The very thing you trying to play with you are dodging??
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted July 2, 2004 I mean no offense to his fans (I used to be a fan) but imo when he does these kinds of comedies it's nothing of the sort, it's just plain dumb. He's at his best when the comedy is built into the script like in Meet the Parents. That stink-bomb of a film where he played a super-hero or spy or whatever the heck he was turned my stomach and this one looks to be much of the same. I wont be seeing this at the theater or on video, PERHAPS when it comes to pay-TV I look at it but rushing or paying extra to see it is out of the question for me.
