master_q 0 Posted May 28, 2004 Braga Stepping Back in Season 4? In Dreamwatch, Brannon Braga, co-creator of ENT, stated that he might "take a step back," he goes on; "I may well give more responsibility to one of the other writers on the show, like Chris Black or Manny Coto." Mr. Braga will also be a part of a new sci-fi series with Rick Berman. --TrekWeb Master Q StarTrek_Master_Q@yahoo.com
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted May 28, 2004 That's excellent news! No one writes a compelling Time Travel episode like he can and I'm eustatic to hear he's staying on despite the bashers.

A l t e r E g o 9 Posted May 28, 2004 Cool...I just might watch ::wonders if the guy from DS9 will come onboard also Ira...forget last name:: Tina don't you know; he (Braga, along with Rick Berman) is responsible for ENT? I think Ira is finished with Trek.

scaleman 0 Posted May 28, 2004 Well, as long as berman goes i'll be happy, he's the main problem (aside from the higher ups ).
WEAREBORG4102 0 Posted May 30, 2004 Berman is arrogant and can be quoted saying that he doesn't care about the old series... He just hires anybody.... For crying out loud, they hired a director that called the turbolift an elevator!!!
StarfleetMarine 0 Posted May 31, 2004 Didn't Berman work on Insurrection and Nemesis?
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted May 31, 2004 Didn't Berman work on Insurrection and Nemesis? Yeah, Berman has been the top dog at Trek since season 3 (?) of TNG, He took the reigns from Gene Roddenberry and is responsible for ALL Trek episodes and films since then. Nemesis 0 Posted May 31, 2004 Berman is trek, even more so then Roddenbury.
Star Trek Fan 0 Posted May 31, 2004 Berman is trek, even more so then Roddenbury. :) :) :) HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT?!?!?!
Mike 5 Posted May 31, 2004 Berman is trek, even more so then Roddenbury. I don't like comparing Berman to Roddenberry. But I do basically agree that Berman is Trek..He has been since the 3rd year of TNG..And in my opinion he's done good for the Star Trek franchise.. Nemesis was a mediocre movie but there have been others like ST III and V.. master_q 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Update "I think that was misunderstood and misinterpreted, or misstated," Berman reportedly told the Star Trek Communicator. "I think to say he 'might be stepping back' would not really be true." "I think that Manny Coto will be stepping up a bit more and be more involved in the running of the show, and that has to do with the fact that both Brannon and I are in the early stages of working on another project." But that doesn't mean they'll be leaving Enterprise behind: "Brannon is not going anywhere."
