I am currently developing a sim called the First Fleet Sim. it will take place in the same setting as my "Fall of the Federation" RPG. Yeah. I've been aboard the actual Navy cruiser USS Cowpens. I saw a few sailors wearing USS Cowpens Ballcaps that had MOO! embroidered on the back of them, though from what I've heard, it's not an officially sanctioned addition to the Ballcap.

I never knew that the Cowpens was a U.S. naval cruiser currently.

 

The one that I was thinking of was a converted WWII cruiser that the sailors would call "The Mighty Moo." It's humorous.
