ussacclaim 0 Posted May 10, 2004 NO' IT'S NOT A TOPIC FOR A TALK SHOW!!! Anyway, one thing I always thought was funny was that Starfleet had the same uniforms from TWOK all the way until at least the death of Jack Crusher. Then the uniforms get changed three times during DS9! Can someone tell me about this? Actually, this brings me to another thing: How come TNG and DS9, when on the air together, stil had separate uniforms. My personal explanation (since no one has givin me the REAL reason) is that DS9 uniforms were for Starbases, while TNG uniforms were for starships (Since Odessey crewmembers from "The Jem'Hadar" had TNG uniforms). But I would prefer to get the real explanation. Thanks!

trekzone 0 Posted May 11, 2004 the grey undershirt (showing onto the collar - where the pips sat) was used as the starbase uniform. While the starships had the black shirt with the turtle neck. However, Picard had a grey undershirt with a black turtleneck. Then in season 6, DS9 moved to the grey shoulder, black chest and black pants and division colour undershirt.
