  1. inner light, hands down...though the supporting cast leaves something to be desired sometimes, theres just something about patrick stewarts performance in it...i always tear up/cry at the end when hes like `oh, its me! im the one it finds!`

best of both worlds is another really excellent one...

  2. im in the midst of a q-a-thon right now! i think picard realizes (eventually) that maybe theres a good thing about the enterprises meeting q....from farpoint to all good things, i think picard realizes that maybe (despite mankinds abilties) that every once in awhile, you DO need someone (something?) to pop that ego bubble, and because of q, i think picard is reminded that the truly wise man knows he knows nothing...

as a side note, i remember hearing of some kind of gender studies paper that suggested q had a crush on picard..... though im doubting that....more like a fondness....er...

  3. Spock: Jim, be careful

    McCoy: WE will

`damnit jim, what the hell is the matter with you? other people have birthdays, why are we treating yours like a funeral?`

`hes not really dead, as long as we remember him`

    =star trek 2

bones was always great, he completed the TOS triumvirate....but like he says....as long as we remeber him...

  4. i definetly think spocks death is the best, and kirk got the shaft on death scenes....but overall, i think ill miss data the most....everything ended so abruptly, and it seems kinda unlikely that theyll even get a chance to bring him back.....meeeehhhh

  5. i REALLY didnt like the picard/vash thing....i think that was one of the worst pairings...picards just waaaay too good for her! i had to vote Spock/leila kalomi...this side of paradise is one of the best, especially in developing spock i think!

  6. ehehehehe...the other day i was sitting in japanese class, and we had to write about inventions...so i decided to write a paragraph advising the development of transporters...what i didnt realize was that my teacher was going to read it aloud in front of the class....and since she had no idea what transporters or star trek is, i had to try to explain it (in front of everyone) in japanese! not the easiest thing in the world....

  7. i voted transporter, though i remember pretending my room was a holodeck when i was twelve...transporters are just so darn useful (as long as the bugs are all worked out of them)...just think, you could go anywhere without having to fly....it would make vacations alot easier, and if you wanted your special shops pizza or something, you can get it from about anywhere! i just dont think replicators can ENTIRELY reproduce yummy tastes...

  8. dude! how could would it be to see captain april, kirks dad, or a young sarek in a spin off series!

of course, i wouldve loved to have seen a captain sulu series, but i doubt that happens at this point... :o

  9. i gotta go with the TOS movies....it was all because of Khan that i got into star trek in the first place! without the movies, i never wouldve gone on to watch TOS or next gen.....plus i love how much the first 6 movies really develope the characters in ways that TOS never did...with the next gen movies, they seem to be more about politics and events than about character interaction and development (mainly because they got to do lots of that on the show i think!) BUT its all star trek, and i got nothin` but love for any of em!

  10. i just watched trouble with tribbles yesterday, and i gotta go with it....i just love the scene where scotty has to explain to kirk that he started the fight, and why....plus chekov gets some nice scenes too!

  11. i vote yes as well! even though picard didnt get to go on so many landing party missions, he still WANTED to!! Kirk just made it his priority to be in the thick of the action, starfleet regs be damned!

  12. `i AM sorry` (to nurse chapel in naked time)

`it serves as a reminder to me that all things must pass` (im not sure if this is quite right...star trek 6, explaining the chagall to valeris)

`commanding a starship is your first best destiny`

    `nobodys perfect, saavik`

    `i exagerated`

  13. back to kirk...you gotta love him for the KIRK FU!!! (especially the jump side kick) also, i just love the *boyish* grin and look kirk gives the camera/other person in TOS, usually at the end of episodes....ahhhh what a cutie!

    :tear:

  14. i voted kirk....hes...human...and i think he had the best relationship/being in tune with his crew, even the little guys...and he knew his weaknesses and strengths i think, and knew that without mccoy or spock, he wouldnt be where he was....

of course i love picard too.....maybe i just got a thing for iowa farm boys :tear:

  15. alot of the movie deaths were the most awesome i think! both spock and kahns death were great, as well as general ch`ang, and of course shinzon and data!! whew....so much death and so much life....

of the show deaths, one that really stands out to me was the voyager episode where a q (i think quince?) wanted to commit suicide....

  16. Dont forget Sulu!! he managed to be a captain and have children (so im assuming he got married sometime along the way) ....i have to admit, i like that riker and troi reunited (though i wouldve made will keep the beard OFF!!) its some nice star trek romance....besides, theyre soul mates i think!

  17. ok..being in japan, i had to avoid all nemesis discussions till NOW because it just came out!! (the pain, the agony of waiting!) and i have to say...i laughed, i cried, i was on the edge of my (albeit small) seat, i loved it!!!! i think its the best of the next gen movies by far, and i dont really understand why it was the lowest grossing trek movie ever.....but i guess this world isnt meant to make sense.....

  18. hi! im a trek fan in japan...which means i dont get enough!! deep space nine is about to come on in japanese, which is always fun to watch! and its great exposing my friends here to the trek legacy! im glad to be on this site too! trekkers of the world unite! :)
