  1. OMG!?!?!? How can someone not know who Alan Alda is?!? :wow:

Aren't there enough M*A*S*H reruns in this world for people to see him 24/7 if they want?

Wow... I must be old or something.

No offense, that just caught me offguard.

How about Jamie Farr as a roving KLING-on space gypsy trying to get out of the Klingon armed forces?

From the middle-eastern Lebanese hemisphere of Q'Onos.

Sorry, couldn't resist the bad joke. You know how futile it is at times.

  2. I agree with Transporter Malfunction. I like all 5 but if I were to pick favorites the top 3 would be TOS, TNG and Enterprise.

Enterprise could be moved to the number 1 spot just because it's the only one in production and I really enjoy seeing the shows for the first time.

I'm generally a Star Trek fan. I've liked all incarnations of it. Some more than others but in the end it's all Trek. Cheesy theme songs, temporal anomalies and over-Borg-ing included.

  3. :P Wanna hear something cheesy?

Like it or not, my wife and I played this song as our first dance at our wedding.

We met in a Trek chat room. We both waited a long time before we found the right person to take that big step with. It just seemed to fit.

Too bad, at the time, we couldn't find the Russell Watson version. We had to use Rod Stewart. We didn't realize that the title of the song had been changed for the Watson version. Oh well... Same song. Same sentiment.

  4. I'm liking the idea of seeing Shran as a reoccuring character.

A regular character every week would just be too much.

An Andorian subplot in Enterprise has great potential to show how the first building blocks were laid for the Human/ Vulcan/ Andorian founding of the Federation. Correct me if I'm wrong on that one please.

Jeffery Combs has definitly made Shran into a likable, if not totally trustworthy, character. I've always been a fan of Andorians. I think it's mainly because other than TOS episodes "Journey to Babel" and "Whom Gods Destroy" and in the background of a few of the TOS movies we haven't really seen them. Hard to believe that they weren't included anywhere that I saw in TNG, DS9 or VOY. Couldn't at least a few have been in Quark's bar on occasion?!?!?!? It was also nice to have seen a Tellarite introduced in an earlier episode of Enterprise too!

Enterprise has really impressed me so far. I like seeing "how it all began".

Just my opinion. Like it or not, we all have one. :P

  5. Is anyone else having problems reading some of the text here?

Certain links or messages are in a very dark colored font and

that blends in with the dark background and makes it difficult to

    read.

I had to change my password and I almost didn't see the instructions

due to the font color. :(

    Is it just me?

  6. I also agree that the lyrics and first version fit the series.

I'm not a fan of the re-mixed version they are using now.

There's not enough drama to it; especially now that they

are on such an important mission!

I've liked just about everything they've done with this series so far.

It's not like any Trek we've seen before...

Some have mentioned that the new mix of the theme sounds a

little country... I don't think so but if it does wouldn't that fit with

the "space cowboy" image? Wagontrain to the stars...

Good stuff so far. A little TOO dark for me right now but it has it's

    moments.
