hmmm tough choice, however i voted emissary, i really thought the handover from the next gen was good, and started the storyline off very well!

lol, some of your ideas are good, i personally would have liked it if they atcually shown some emotion when they had reached the alpha quadrant, i mean they spent seven years trying to get home a load of disappointment and when they finally get there they treat it as 'another day' no cheer no nothing!

voyager is my favorite incarnation of trek, but i find the other four just as injoyable, and i do agree with the fact that there are some really good fan fics out there, also some of the sim storylines i find are fantastic (however i do not sim) the creativity and depth are amazing.

as a whole though i feel that trek fans are most dedicated, i mean lets face it trek is growing all the time there is hardly anybody who does not know about star trek even if they do not follow it!

i chose tuvok as i feel he really was next in line for commander, however i do not feel that the marquai would have liked it so yep for the period i suppose chakoty was the best ^_^

i'm inbetween these really, i do work as a health care assistant at our local hospital, but i'm also starting my nurse training at university, so i do both.

yep time does fly, and it seems the older you get the faster it goes, weather this is because as we get older there is far more we want to do and achieve at times i wish i could just take time and slow it all down

i live in the uk and we don't really have majors, however i didn't do too well at school, but i am now making up for lost time as i will be starting a diploma in nursing next week as a mature student, i feel you are never too old too learn!

i had to vote year of hell, as it it one of my all time favourites, however i do feel in the pale moonlight and city on the edge of forever were most proberly joint second.

unfortunately for me i had a bit of a tough childhood, and one of my child hood heros was superman, i used to really wished he come and take me away from it all.

year of hell has to be the favorite, it had something in it for everyone plus many suprises for example, janeway giving the order to abandon ship!

this is really quite a difficult vote, i feel each has brought it's own element to trek, however although not my favorite i did vote tos as if it was not for that original idea trek would not have exsisted, it thus built the foundation.

time and again was one of my favorite episodes, however i thought they overdramatized kes a bit, it reminded me a little of troi in the first ep of the next gen!

i do like both picard and janeway, they both were very good captains in very different ways, they both earned the admiration and respect of there crews. but at a push i'd have to choose janeway B)

Being a student myself at the moment, my advice would be to be as organized as you can with your studies.

also remember time for you, you need to be able to relax and enjoy yourself from time to time with friends and family.

well my career plans are, at the moment i'm doing a access course to get me into uni where i will train to be a adult nurse and then specilise in A&E, i would then like to convert it all to paramedic. but as soon as i have my nurse qualification i intend to take my family and settle down abroad somewhere and give us all abetter quality of life (hopefully). it's a long way off but i'll get there :(

It has to be Q in every episode he was in something hilarious would happen, i mean he turned beverly crusher into a dog, then tried to provoke sisko in another and then tried to procreate with janeway he is just so funny :(

difficult as i feel there are good and bad episodes in all, however i have chosen series 7 as i thought friendship one and critical care were powerful episode.

There were also had some interesting twists in series seven with neelix leaving the ship and 7 and chachotay romance.

voyager is my favorite series, but the reason why has very much already been said, for me it is about a crew all striving for the same thing-to get home- the early series were very much about crew development and there were a few good episodes. The strong female charaters were always a strong point on voyager as well as a captain that cared about her ship and crew.

I personally thought voyager was a reminder of trek, as they went where no-one had gone before and most of the time abided by the prime directive, and met new races and learned about new cultures.

And as for being slow in the first few episodes was not the same thing said about tng?

hmmm, this was a tough vote for me, as voyager is my favorite trek series, i have voted for tom paris, as he is funny and an overall cool guy, but i also think janeway is an exerlent character so strong and passionate about her crew, and b'elanna, i found her character just as interesting, she was strong and yet quite venerable at the same time.

Tom paris is my all time fave on voyager, he's so handsome ans sarcastic, however i also liked capt janeway as i felt she was a good strong captain, who always put her crew first.

two of my favorite quotes are:

first from prophecy, when tom turns to b'elanna and says

'i was hoping our daughter would be special but i never dreamed she'd turn out to be the klingon messiah'

and secondly from the gift where tuvok ans janeway are walking to sickbay

i'm a open about the fact that i like trek, i really can't see why it should bother people, and many just take it as part of who i am!

hmmm, a very difficult question, i was brought up on tos and can always remember watching it, i love all the series with voyager being my favorite, however my favorite film is st3, prehapse that did play a part! :lol:
