  1. I love watching gymnastics on t.v.

Can't figure out why American teams don't perform better.

I was rewatching some olympic coverage I recorded, and am still angry that Andrea Raducan was robbed of her gold medal for taking cough syrup! What bs.Of course, the cough syrup's main ingredient showed up in a drug test! She's so small!

Oh,well, she'll always be the gold medal winner in my opinion.

Just wanted to know if anybody else here likes gym,and has favorite athletes. :P

  2. "To Shining Sea" by Stephen Howarth. It is a history of the United States Navy from the Revolutionary War to Operation Desert Storm.Having been written by a British military historian,i have found his opinions of the United States Navy very interesting.I am currently on the next-to-last chapter(the mid 80's).

After this book,I have set aside "The Last Full Measure" a book about the Civil War battle at Cold Harbor, and about the South's general military strategy throughout the war.

  3. I believe there was a tome written by Majel-Barrett Roddenberry, which I checked out of the library on Cantus IV and read.It was quite simply deplorable! The book implied that the Federation kept the children and loved ones of all member worlds' leaders on a single planet under threat of death if their homeworld began a conflict or some such nonsense..really!The UFP has never been, nor will ever be so barbaric. Also, the book was overtly sexual.Too much so for a TOS novel,or any Trek novel. It should never have been published I dare say.

  4. Non-coporeal beings are very real,my friend. One of my very first assignments as a member of my world's diplomatic corps was to an asteroid field in the Emerald Vortx Nebula where a species of non-coporeal beings reside. What delightful creatures! They gave me a receipe for barbecue that is quite simply out of this world!Yummy... :)

Exactly what would a non-corporeal being barbecue? :force:

Before they evolved into their present state, these beings were a humanoid species reknowned throughout the galaxy for their delicious tri-tip barbecue!Since they have "moved on" and no longer require such nutriment, they no longer jealously guard their secret recipes!I am one of a mere handful of individuals that they have graced with a copy of their recipe for BBQ!And don't even ask me,I'm not telling what it is!

  6. Shortly after my arrival on the terran homeworld an officer of the cultural ministry suggested that I try this exercise for "fun"....I nearly killed myself.I have since set aside my rollerblades and have no intentions of trying this "sport" again.

  7. I must admit to a certain ammount of hesitation when pondering the question of maintaining an open journal. As most of my work is quite sensitive in nature,I'm not sure if it would be at all appropriate for me to keep logs. However,if anyone else finds the idea appealing, then please,by all means have fun!

  8. Well, what an invigorating game!Normally,I abhor physical violance of any type, but I could find myself becoming quite fond of "whack a nerd".I scored 3,200 on my second game.Is that good? :force:

  9. You terrans and your funny ideas about nudity and sex!I find them so amusing at times. There is nothing wrong with the naked humanoid form.Truly, there can be no more wonderous a design in all of nature!Take a lesson from the Deltans or the Betazoids, and "loosen up" as you say.I find Hoshi Sato to be an exquisite example of terran female beauty, and was not in the least offended.

  10. I remember the first time a terran offered me a libation he called "coke".It is pure ambrosia! Most of my people found themselves so partial to the beverage, that rumors abounded that the drink was a narcotic and habit forming!I don't know about that, but I still indulge in a Coke a day...and I get rather cranky and ill-humored when I cannot have my Coke!

  11. Many, many yon ago my people began detecting very faint transmissions from Sector 001.These transmissions included the art format terrans refer to as "cartoons",as well as a great many other fascinating things.I found myself personally partial to the cartoon known as Scooby-Doo.I could just sit in front of the viewer and watch Scooby-Doo all morning!

  12. Seven of Nine.I have personally never met Annika Hansen, though I did review with relish the reports my people compiled of the starship Voyager's wonderous passage through the far-flung Delta Quadrant.During this review i found myself intrigued by Seven of Nine's pursuit to regain her humanity.A very touching story. Also, she is such a fine example of terran beauty....(drool)...Ah,excuse me.I,uhmm, apologize for that lapse. Now where were we?

  13. I actually had the pleasure of meeting James Tiberius Kirk in my youth. What a delightful man!The Enterprise visited an Edoan outpost in the Pahoota system, and I and my bandmates were playing a gig there (yes,I was in a musical combo as a lad). This,of course,is well before Yo'Ko Oh'No! met our lead singer,J'onn and ruined everything.Yes,Kirk had a bit of an ego about himself, but was it not well deserved? He was a man of great deeds.

  14. Ah,James Tiberius Kirk!My people know of this terran and his exploits. We consider him to be a great man.Yes,very great.I,of course, have heard the tales of his prowess in regards to terran mating.I cannot say that I exactly believed most of the stories I heard.Afterall no male of any sentient species can be that oversexed!

I am not surprised to discover that most of what I have heard is not in case, the fact.
