Whats this about an Australia class?

Would you be able to do matrix style moves and defey the laws of gravity on the holodeck? Could you make everything slowmotion?

I'm just wondering what you think would happen.

I think you would be able to say a voice command to make everything slowmotion and the computer would use the tractor beams it uses to move holocharacters to make you not be able to move as fast as normal.

The USS Prometheus. It has holo emitters everywhere. Then I could create a holographic crew.

If I already had a crew I would have an intrepid class starship and call it the USS Tasman because I live in Tasmania, Australia.

If I couldn't have a starship I would have a computer core from 2375 runnig on LCARS. Better than an IBM runnig on Windows!

If I couldn't have a computer core I would have a holodeck or holosuite.

I'm going to get StarTrek Starfleet Command III soon so are there any tips for a beginner?

You're mixing two different entities here. Starfleet is the military branch of the Federation. When the Federation needs something done like protecting Grain on Shermans Planet they use their military (Star Fleet). The UN is a good example to give but the UN itself doesn't have a Military force, rather it relys on it's member countries militaries to carrie out it's missions when needed.

So that would make the Federation the more like the UN. Except planets instead of nations.

I'm quite fine with thinking Starfleet is military. The thing is they ask questions first and shoot only if they have to. I'm fine with that.

I looked up military in the dictionary and it said:

of or relating to the armed forces or war.

so i looked up armed forces and it said:

all the military forces of a nation or nations.

so reading that you would go back to military and then back to armed forces and get into a dictionary paradox.

I need a new dictionary. :(

I think starfleet is an organization ruled by the federation that does a lot of military things in space but also does a lot of stuff what the United Nations would do like when they had to deliver a special grain to a planet. (TOS:the Trouble with Tribbles) and when they had to keep the core of a planet molten to safe it from solidifying and destroying life on the planet (TNG: Inheritance). I think its a mix between Military, what the UN does and explorers.

I would love to be a captain! I think I could handle the responsibility. If I couldn't be a captain I think I would be the ships counselor because I'm also interested in sycology (spelling).

Star Wars got me hooked on sci-fi and then Star Trek Voyager got me hooked on startrek. When I saw Voyager for the first time I was like. B) lol

Anywho, The Doctor is the most capable doctor there is. He is a sentient computer with so much medical knowledge its crazy. Don't forget the fact that his design allows him to be more accurate in his work too! Oh no, he is annoying... big woop, I would much rather a little annoyance over misdiagnosis!
