  1. Insurrection was dull. The only good part was with the battle betweent the Son'a and the Enterprise. Nemesis wasn't all that bad. It had some great effects, especially when the bridge was blown out and that Ensign was sucked into the void. Amazing.

"Correction: That's blown out Sir," - Data "The Naked Now"

  2. Data isn't truly gone. If you can recall, all his memories and programming was transfered to B4. B4 maybe too primitive hardware wise. So really, if they can upgrade his parts to Data's level or better, that programming should kick in and bada-boom, bada-bing: Data's back.

I just saw a German made 3D fan film of the TNG crew after Nemesis. It was like the TNG crew version of "The Search For Spock". More like "The Search For Data". In it they said B4 was the one whom actually saved Picard and died, that he was made after Data and programmed to protect him. So he disabled Data's higher functions and took his place. What they need to re-enable it is on the USS Enterprise-D in Data's quarters. So now they're going back to the crash site on Veridian III (If I spelled it right) to get it.

  3. Depends on when. On the show he grew it because he didn't like how young he seemed to look without one. Then in Insurrection when he shaved he didn't look young even without the beard. I was surprised he regrew it by the time of Nemesis since his new wife didn't like it in Insurrection. I think the older shaved look in Insurrection worked for him, so by that point it didn't matter. But in the series, I'd say with.

  4. She said she wanted to leave because she didn't think her character was going anywhere. However, the season was barely over and already Star Trek had a massive fan base. I think it's 'cause she realized that as along as Marina Sirtis was alive and kicking, she'd never be the #1 sex symbol on this show.

Personally I thought she was the hottest in the first season. I didn't care for Troi's hair style in the first season. I love her and Crusher's new looks in the movies though, I think in those is where they look their hottest.

Then in DS9 they started having at least one big breasted woman on the show, ever notice that?

    DS9: Leeta the Dabo Girl

    VOY: 7 of 9

    ENT: T'Pol

  5. By the time I started watching Star Trek, the TNG episode "Chain of Command" was airing. That's the 2st episode I remember being interested in. So it was no surprise to me that Yar wasn't on the later seasons. Though the story I was told by my dad was Denise Crosby posed nude for Playboy and Star Trek didn't want that kind of attention/reputation so they killed off her character.

  6. At "Mountain-CON: Episode III" a convention in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 21 - 23, 2007: I saw Garret Wang (Ensign Harry Kim, VOY) there and he was talking about when TNG first came on he decided to try to watch it and the first episode he caught was "Code of Honor". He didn't like it so he stopped watching the show. When re-runs came on he'd decide he'd try again, every-time he tried this it was "Code of Honor" airing. When he got picked for the role of Harry Kim, to learn about modern Star Trek they had him watch one episode per season of TNG. Season 1's tape of the stack of tapes they gave him was on top and he stuck it in the VCR. The episode title read "Code of Honor". He had told the makers of Voyager is story with TNG before. So he called the guy that gave him the tapes and he answered bursting with laughter.

  7. I think he would sooner or later, after all it's been 21 years since he first took Command of the USS Enterprise-D and he wasn't a young man then. And he's getting older, Nemesis was 6 years ago and they were at 15 years together then.

In some fan films and my RPG he did finally accept Admiral-ship and the position of Academy Commandant. I know they're not Canon and neither are books. It's basically up to each fan's interpretation. Though bare in mind, even Kirk once said, "Galloping around the cosmos is a game for the young."
