    and yes, it is meant to be a personal project, but I'm looking at carrying it further...

    THE FOLLOWING TAKES PLACE BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 01:00AM ON NEW YEARS DAY

    EPISODE PRODUCTION #AB101:

    00:00am – 01:00am

    · Rating à Title.

    00:00-00:12

    · Some remote area (BA?) a person is interrogated with electricity, he cracks at the last moment and with his dying breath he utters three words, This Morning and Iain. The interrogator calls someone,

    “Its confirmed, set up secondary BOO.”

    · BA: Iain setting up equipment, tables, TV’s and computer, black and white pictures of Jack Swigert sprawled out across a table, closes lid of boot after everything is unpacked – last shot: pan from boot to photos.

    · Two people walk in, guy and woman, talk about the attempts on the dignitary and Jack, the lady leaves.

    · (00:04) – Jacks comes out of a place with his little sister, Alicha, walking to the car, phonecall,

    “No I don’t work for CTU anymore”.

    · CTU: David setting up, Mike comes over,

    M: “So this…(points at all the equipment)…is how we run a CTU?”

    D: “A remote one, yeah. Have we got Jack?”

    M: “No, he’s refusing to speak to me”

    D: “I know someone who he will talk to, I don’t how they are though”

    · Pan up of Elaine Gimbal sitting, reading…

    00:16-00:34

    · SPLIT: Iain and other guy (Damien) looking at photos of Jack and the British PM’s son, Jack and Alicha in the car, Elaine still reading, back at CTU – full screen.

    · David calls Elaine

    D: “Elaine, we need you to contact Jack, there’s a case here with his name all over it”

    E: “I’ll do my best”

    · Cut to Iain, calls a number – its busy though.

    · Sneaky footage, someone is coming towards Iain, it’s a civilian, who runs off, but trips and makes a noise, Iain in pursuit…

    I: “Damien, get him! Dammit!”

    · Damien runs to his car, civilian gets into a car.

    · Jack at home, opens car door to get sleeping Alicha, the chaperone, cause he’s on “L’s” gets out but pauses looking strangely at Jack, he gets the phone call …

    J: “Elaine?”

    E: “Jack, how are you?”

    J: “Missing you, how are you?”

    E: “I’m fine. Hey listen…”

    J: “Do you wanna grab some breakfast and a movie later?”

    E: “Jack…Jack! It’s David, he wants to see you”

    J: “They got to you too?”

    E: “Go in and listen to what they have to say”

    J: “But you…”

    E: “Jack, think of yourself for once…I’ll meet you there, ok?”

    J: “OK”

    · (00:32) - Jack decides to leave Alicha in the car and starts it up again, chaperon gets back in.

    · Car driving off, speeds up to 60kph, Iain watches as his brother catches the car, it stops…the driver gets out and a knife is thrust into the stomach, Damien gets in car and speeds back.

    00:38-00:48

    · SPLIT: Iain looking, Jack in the car driving, Damien pulls back into his bay.

    · FULL: Walks back into to hangar.

    · Elaine waits by a letterbox.

    · CTU: David and Mike pulling out cables placing them down, phone call….

    · Jack pulls up and Elaine gets in. Jack tears off, the car clock says “00:44”

    (Chaperone): “Hi”

    E: “Hi”

    (Chaperone): “Where are we headed?”

    E: “Leeming Rec.”

    J: “Oh, right…(snicker)”

    · Long shot of Jack walking into CTU, David and Mike plug in VCRs and TV’s.

    · Back in the car:

    J: “Do you mind staying in the car, I may need you for the next 8 hours?”

    (Chaperone): “Alright”

    E: “David anticipated that you’d have Alicha with you, so he’s got transportation ready”

    J: “Thanks”

    · (00:46) - Just as a computer is turned on, the doors open and David and Mike turn their heads to see the three of them walk in, Jack ignores the pleasantries, Elaine and Alicha walk off as David and Mike start the briefing.

    · BRITISH PRIME MINISTERS SON HAS BEEN HERE FOR A WEEK, WRAPS UP TONIGHT, THERE IS A TERRORIST THREAT ON HIS LIFE REGARDING AN EVENT ONE YEAR OLD.

    · IAIN DONNAHEU’S BACK, THIS TIME HE’S GOT HIS SISTER AND BROTHER, THEIR AT SOME UNKNOWN AIRPORT

    · THERES A NUCLEAR WARHEAD LOCATED SOMEWHERE WITHIN THE CITY AND IT HAS A 6 HOUR FUSE.

    ·

    · Briefing takes 2 minutes running down the British PM’s son coming to Perth, the assassination threat and the terrorist involved in the plot.

    · Jack shrugs his shoulders and leaves, saying this is not my concern, yada yada.

    · Jack grabs Alicha and walks out, getting into the car, Jack starts the engine…pauses looks at Alicha in the background, innocent smile.

    00:52-01:00

    · SPLIT: Iain typing away, Janet driving, Elaine querying David and Mike…then the doors burst open and Jack walks through with Alicha.

    “Give me and Elaine provisional status for the next 8 hours and take Alicha home and I’ll fight your war”

    “Thanks Jack”

    · PERTH TCU: Phone call…David from CTU

    “There should be a flight leaving for London arriving in one hour, its carrying the British PM’s son home, I want special clearance for it and two of my agents will be down to escort him”

    “Okay, I can’t guarantee much, its pretty hectic”

    · Iain checks his watch, 07:55, brings up days events on the computer. Makes a call.

    · Janet answers, her ETA is about half an hour.

    · David and Mike continue setting up CTU as Elaine and Alicha leave.

    · Outside, Alisha makes friends with Elaine…Elaine puts her in a car and Alisha is chaperoned. As the car drives off, Elaine checks her watch, 07:59.

    · SPLIT: Iain in the hangar, Alicha in the back of the car, David and Mike setting more stuff up, Jack in bathroom, finishing shaving.

    · FULL: In a bathroom, Jack has remnants of shaving cream and no beard he stares long and hard.

    i liked the Maquis, for the simple fact of having "rebel" terrans, with all the "hard shell, by the book" terrans, not just Starfleet but civys as well, i liked the change, showing that everything is not sweet in a derived future
