    I've always thought the most important thing with fan fiction is to be true to the established characters.  There are too many stories that have established characters doing things they would NEVER do.  So as long as the Borg don't become the protectors of the universe you should be okay.

    LOL. :lol: No, the Borg will not be the protecters of the universe in my story. I am actually trying to make the Borg more difficult to win over in my story. :lol: As can be shown through the name to my fanfic; Resistance is futile. :lol: :lol:

    The character that annoys me the most is Q! I hate his arrogance. B) He's just an arrogant sleeceball for me! B)

    On second place of who irritate the the most, is Shelby! Thinks she knows the all, and goes against orders and jeopardies the safety of the entire Enterprise and her crew! :lol: :laugh:

    Okay, I was wondering about something new here...

    Do you think that I can use Borgships from games in my story, or do you think that I can only use ships that are seen in the series? B) (One of the ships I was planning to use, which can only be seen in games, are the Assimilator. :laugh: )

    I recently bought Starfleet Command 3 but when it was installed it refused to run, saying my PC did not have DirectX 8.1 or higher. In fact my computer has DirectX 9. I have tried reinstalling, manually installing DirectX 8.1 from the disk and I have even bought another version of the game. The same thing happens every time: When I try to play the game, an error box pops up saying my PC hasn't got DirectX 8.1 or higher and the game automaticly closes.

    Same problem here!!! :laugh:

    And I have tried to install DirectX 8.1 again to solve the problem, but it doesn't work! I thought it had to do with the computer. :clap:

    Since I don't have internet at home (is at the library now), does anyone knows what I should do? :tear: :)

    The Borg Queen is an incredibly complex being considering she is the "leader" of a collective of automatons.  It would have been very easy to create a one-dimensional character rather than the rich character they did. 

     

    I would have loved to know more about her own background before she became Borg.  It would have been fascinating to find out how she was able to become Borg Queen after her own species was assimilated.

     

    The Borg Queen is definitely one of the best villains to hit the screen and not just in the Star Trek universe.

    Agree with you there. :) And I have also wondered if there would be any series/movies that explain how the Collective was created. B) :)

    3 guesses for what I voted, LOL. :lol: Yepp, I voted the Borg! B) For some reason, which I can't explain, they are my favorite species!!! :borgqueen: Well, I do think they are cool, and you never know whats going to happen then they show up. :) I'll write more if I knows more what do say here.
