I once went 4 and a half days without sleep when i was 14

I have done that, but it is not good on the body, though.

Nor the mind, by the end i did not know who i was or where i was :)

I like the Ocampans because they live for 9 years and they have powerful minds.

I don't like the Ferengi except for Quark and his brother Rom. 

Anyone else think Rom sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger on drugs? :)

I think Tuvok measured up to what a true Vulcan is suposed to be.  T'Pol, on the other hand, seems to be too emotional for most viewers taste.  If any of you watch Enterprise on UPN then you know what I am speaking of.  For example, last week there were two episodes shown.  The latter showed T'Pol acting too emotional.

Has anyone read the voyager book homecoming, its set after endgame, and should have been made into an ep.

They are very alike, but i thought Riker was a smug git :)

He should have been a commander

lol, Data would have been a good embassador to the Klingons because his strength and speed are known and respected throughout the empire.

He would have also made a good Vulcan ambassador aswell because he is more like a vulcan than human.

Also a possible ambassador to the borg as he is a sentient machine, closer to perfection than the average borg in my opinion

Hey i'm like you guys towards newbies on many of the boards i visit, i remember when i joined ST:Intelligence a year ago (the first board i ever joined), they made me feel sooo unwanted, but i just told them to go **** themselves now i'm respected

I have the real explanation and that is, stars do not bounce off the ship, if the ship came in direct contact with a corona, the ship would melt. The "stars" flying past are really particles of space dust being ploughed out of the ships path by the deflector at many times the speed of light. If the deflector was not active at warp, these tiny particles would punch a hole the sizev of your fist right through the ship.
