  2. The mirror universe uniforms were fantastic if you had the body for them and at that time they did.

Off topic..... As much as I liked them, from years of going to conventions I have seen a lot of fans wear them that DON'T have the body for them

Chicks need the flat stomachs to pull off that costume.

Sadly, too many that choose to wear them, don't.02.gif

  3. Yeah, just like some people don't know what they should NOT wear at the beach.

I vote no, it was fine for the MU but not for the regular series imo.

    I couldn't agree more.

Like the Chubby Chicks that think that they look good in the Tankini's. ;)

  4. Back on topic, I do think she had a killer body. Should they have kept that uniform? No, they shouldn't have kept her regular uniform either. I like them both and I'll be wearing the blue version to Vegas in 09, but in reality the mirror outfit and the regular dress were ridiculously impractical.

    Hold on.

Will you be wearing the Blue Version of the regular Uniform or the Mirror?

    Just asking.

  5. I think its amazing that some people think that they can talk about you behind your back to several people and not expect you to hear about it. I'm used to it and don't let it bother me. In my case, its some of my employees. They kiss my a.ss left and right when they are talking to me yet trash me to other employees. Of course, the other employees always come back to tell me about it. I never tell the ones that trash me that I found out that they did. I like to keep them off-guard by following the rule that states " Keep your friends close and your enemies closer"........

    Words to live by.

  6. And, before she went off of the deep end, I would say that Brittney Spears had one too.

Barbie Benton was more like Early-to-Mid Seventies, if I recall correctly. And she is another one that still looks good today.

Barbie Benton actually started in 1968 and was on Hee Haw in 1969.

Of course don't get me wrong on Mrs. Nichols, I've always thought she was a beautiful woman. I just never associated her with that particular term before though.

I completely forgot about Hee Haw.

My kids once asked me about it. I told them that it was Laugh-In for Hillbillies.

Then they asked me what Laugh-In was.

We've sort of hijacked the thread but oh well, it'll survive lol.

I used to watch Hee Haw all the time in the 70's. Of course by the time I was watching it it was around 1973 or 1974 (when I was 4 or 5 years old). On a side note, Roy Clark is a master on the guitar, I've actually heard him make one talk.

Not to mention a Classically Trained Violinist.

  7. IMHO, I don't care what people say about me behind my back.

When they talk about you, then they're not paying attention to themselves.

Besides, I would rather be respected than liked.

It's not really a matter of being liked, but it is a sign of disrespect. Personally I could care less if someone wants to talk about me. It's the whole "two faced" thing that bothers me.

It happens to me all of the time.

I'd be lying if I said that it didn't bother me, but it's not something that I let consume me.

The better man just ignores it and moves on.

And I know that you're the better man, Kevin.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying that it's someone talking about me in particular. It may or may not be, but in general terms I'd just rather a person be the same to your "face" as they are when you aren't there.

    I completely understand.

    And agree 110%.

  10. With the Killer Body that she had back then, she pulled it off nicely.

She was attractive but killer body?

"hot" is in the eye of the beholder.

True, I wouldn't say she had a 'killer body' but that's just my opinion. To me, Barbi Benton (about the same time frame, late 60's) or Jessica Alba (more current) had/have killer bodies. So that's my point of reference.

And, before she went off of the deep end, I would say that Brittney Spears had one too.

  11. I wouldn't be too surprised if he took over for Picard when Picard finally retires. Of course, if it happens, it would be in a book series I imagine.

I agree. I doubt that there will ever be another TNG movie.
