    Hi all,

     

    For the fourth time this year I've created a Star Trek Music Video. Before now I created a new topic for every music video, now I'll use this topic every time. You can also discuss older music videos created by me, here.

     

    The newest music videos I've created is about the latest Star Trek Movie and is called "We Weren't Born to Follow". It's my opinion that this latest song of Bon Jovi fits perfectly for the latest movie. I hope you can enjoy this music video.

    Again I've created a new music video. Hopefully you like this one more than the one I created before.

     

    Subject of this music video is the wild west. That's why I used music from Ennio Morricone - Theme from the good, the bad and the ugly. You can find scenes from TOS, TNG and ENT. If you look good, you can even find some DS9.

     

    In star trek these episode were a tribute to the western movies. This is a tribute to Star Trek Western. Let me know what you think of it. Your opinion is appreciated.

    Hey all,

     

    It has been a while but finally it's there, a new music video. It's a TNG Tribute which is comparable with my 2nd DS9 Tribute In Caelum Fero.

    It's a high pace music video going forward and back :laugh:. The song Waterfall from Atlantic Ocean is used for this tribute.

     

    It was rather difficult to create this music video. Not only timing, but also finding the right scenes. Let me know what you think of it.

    Yet again I've created a new music video. It's named "kind of wonderful" after the song from Grand Funk Railroad "some kind of wonderful".

    The music video is about woman of star trek and the "love" relationships between them and man.

    Hello all,

     

    I've made a new music video. It's called "The Moment". Why, because I used a song from Kenny G. which is called that way. This song was also used at the 30th anniversary of Star Trek.

     

    I've used images from all movies and even a little bit from Star Trek XI. If you do like the music video please let me know. My goal was to let people get the desire to watch all those movies again.

    I've created a new music video. I'm really proud of it, because it was very difficult to get the right scenes on the right time. I hope you'll enjoy it.

    It's about the Dominion war, but not as most Dominion war music videos are. I tried to be different and also added some personal combat and sadness.

    Thank you. What would you suggest me doing with after effects to the titles? I'm curious. Let me know. About the noise in the transitions, well, that would propably be Pinnacle Studio.

    It was the last music video I created with Pinnacle Studio. I now use Ulead Studio 11. That's a very light and easy to use program.

    I have all ready created two new music videos.

    That was very nicely done-- good choices made there-- good music/mood. Nice Video.

     

    A few technical details--I've "grown" some from my first early venture into the digital era of video. I've found some new tools that can help a lot. Your video mixes 16x9 WS and 4:3 video resolutions. But, these are difficult to covert to same.( guess you don't own a key to any Paramont Vaults either-aye :nono: ) Some of your 4:3 video shows back border on the left and right edges. This can be fixed using TMPG MPEG encoder or any other video encoder of choice.

     

    I liked the [dip to black] nice choice for many of those transitions. Are you using Premiere Pro?

     

     

    It's good that you didn't get too carried away throwing every different transition plugin at the video---minimal is the true mark of a professional. Well Done over all. And a very nice "feeling" to it too.

     

    Thank you for your kind words. I've all Star Trek on DVD, but I don't rip it. I've download the series, for music videos. Therefore I don't had a choice for 4:3 or 16:9. Luckily the program I use keeps the resolutions the same. I shall look into the encoder thing, but It's MP4. the Fade out, and fade in is one of the most strong transitions. I don't use any other, yeah also.. the use of no transistion, even stronger. (i've more videos at Final Frontier Media. Just take a look and let me know.

     

    I've recently a new music video. I tried to use slow-motion. It's called sorrow. Let me know what you think of it, very much appreciated.

    Off course does TNG looks dated. It's 20 years old. What do you expect. I have a DVD, but still it looks dated. The use of camera is dated, the special effects are dated, the whole series is dated.

     

    You can never change that. TOS remastered still looks dated, and will never attract new audience. It's a tribute to a serie. TNG is set in the 1980's and that's is clearly visable. SOmebody like Troi on the bridge, typical 80's. Everything must be politcal correct, typical 80's.

     

    Don't get me wrong, the series is great, the storylines are never outdated!, but the serie itself. yes, it will never change, you don't want to change it.

    Well.. Last month (september), I made my second Tribute to DS9 Music video. It's called "In Caelum Fero". I found it one my best video I made till now. (only made 3 real ones and 2 stupid ones ). Ofcourse this video is best seen by DS9 lovers or at least people who are interested in DS9. If you don't like DS9, you won't be touched by this video. But a real fan (like me) should be touched.. although.. that's my goal.

    The website is recently updated. There are now over more then 60 music video's available through my site. I'm looking for more people who create wonderfull star trek music video's.

     

    As you can see, The Brent Spiner Tribute from Takara Soong is allready added to the list. You'll get offcourse the proper credits and I will host the file(if you want to host it to, that possible)
