  2. Well i don't about you, but back in the day kirk was really a sex symbol in some views. He was only on the first characters to do an inter-racial kiss on a popular sci-fi series. I think that he was really cute and the only problem is that his carrer really doesn't allow time for romantic. So, to my ladies out there if you were back in the of TOS would date or marry Kirk?

  3. At first, I really didn't like DS9. I thought it was going to be like another remake of the orginal series so then i thought to myself maybe i shouldn't watch at all.So then, a friend of mine at work gave me a chance to watch all 7 season of the series and i was hooked 4 life!!!!!!!! :o So, i just wanted to let everyone know that if you have a chance to watch DS9 i say you should take a look at it! :o Well if you are a fan of it already the story focuses around the need to respect the differences in people and how religon plays an important part in our lives. Also, DS9 opens you to a new array of characters and also how war can change your life forever. But the main focus of the show is between the relationship of Captain Benjamin Sisko and the Prophets, gods that live in the wormhole that carries you to the gamma quadrant. The Bajorians and the Cardassians are also the main key players in the outcome of the diminion war Which is major theme in 5th, 6th, and 7th season. But i won't give anything else away, you will have to watch the series to see what happens..........

  4. Yeah i agree with ya,

After seeing the ending of DS9 it shows that he had finally found his place has a god to be guided by the phophets. So i thought that the last episode "Those you leave behind" Is a great way to end it. No matter how much you may be far apart, a piece of friendship the people that you care about are with you always.

  5. Did you ever think about this?

We are just like the Ferengi. We want money all the time and we would do anything to get it. Even the human on star trek are not like us. It is really funny to think that our ears chould be that big lol. But they are a good race only when they want to be and some of them like to rebels like Nog. The orignal ferengi on The Next Generation were seen and sometimes the Klingon are known for their roughness and the willness to battle. But who knows we may look like them someday.

  6. I have always found the borg to be so werid. I dont see what is so cool about them. They seem to scare me at times, but i think that why alot of people seem to like them. Expect the unexpected as they say. In the movies, they seem to be wimps to me only wanted just to take over and they way or making things better is just a waste of time. I'm sorry but i would not want to look like any of them in the morning.

  9. Hello everyone,

But if you have been watching season 7, but i noiced that the relationships are beginning to get stronger by the min. The bond between Odo and Kira is cute, And Worf and Eszi are getting along just fine. But sometimes i wonder why does captain Sisko have such a hard time finding the path he was meant to be on. Sometimes, I understand how he feels because it must be so hard to understand where you belong and how you are supposed to fit in. So, if anyone is watching season enjoy it, because there are many lessons to learn from it.

  10. While so many of us want him back. William Shatter work through many other different ways. I did'nt know that he was such a great writer. The current author of the trek war books, i have them all they are truely great. He has also co-wrote with many of the popular trek authors. Dark Victory and Star Trek memories and 2 books that i highly recomend. So if you would like to know more about will and what is going on with please visit his offical site.

  11. :) :) Thoughtout the progression of star trek we noticed that the ferengi are the "human" race. But i come to this, are we related and if so how? We do in common have big ears lol and take emotions for granted, but to me, we are two different races. We can learn from them, if you make a mistake one don't try to make the same one it gets you nowhere.

  12. Yo my trekkies,

Besides Klingon culture, I really enjoy the Cardassian race. Their top mission is family, and making Cardassia the premier planet in the world. But another reason why so many people watch Star Trek is due the costuming. Having a chance to design, to make werid hats and dresses really add to the experince. Cardassian clothing is very interesting to me. So, if anyone knows about it or of any place on the internet let me know.

I will be known as two people, i am also sometimes refer to myself as major kira 05. But anyways, I have a question of vulcan religon. Is it simlar to the bajorians or is like the minbari of babylon 5? How did it start and is it still effected the characters of star trek?

  16. Hello all,

Lursa here, And i wanted to talk about DS9 season 1 to 4. I thought that the first season was weak, and of course that was due to lack of funding at the time. You would think that paramount would put some more money into it lol :) :borgqueen: But, if you think about as they contiuded, it got better and better. By the time it got to season four it already was a full-ledged show. Sometimes, I wonder why DS9, out of all the Star Trek series is not well-liked. Personally, it's due to the storyline and the amount of characters to remember. And also later on, Worf from TNG comes bakc and mixes it up even more. The storylines are hard to find sometimes the federation and the Klingons, the dimimon and the Cardassians it never ends lol. Of course, you have all those great love stories Worf and Dax, Keiko and O'Brien, and many others. The fighting sequences were alot better, but i have to admit, babylon 5 was catching up to them it was around the same time. Durning the DS9 time, Star Trek movies were being directed, so it may it hard to keep up with the stories that were presented. In the end, that is what made the run of DS9 so great. It kept you wanting more, pushing the lines or what prime-time could show even showing one of the very few lesiban kisses on tv!!!!!!!!! :) DS9, a show that brought new life to the frontier.
