Thanks Kirk1701, I never noticed the similarities between the NASA and Starfleet emblems.
Cool bit O' info!

I dont discount anything when it comes to Star Trek and timelines. The history is full of examples.
Undecided over here, but I would like to see that come to pass.

Way to go Mr. Cotoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait!

A Sulu / Excelsior movie. Now that would be worth watching.

Shinzon was a very original villian. Does anyone know what else the actors done?
Every time I watch Nemesis, I like it more and more. I have a definite love of the Reman Predator, and also of Dina Meyer. She could take me prisoner any time. B)
Also Dina Meyer's ship the Valdor. I love this ship!

I had to go with Undiscovered Country. One, for the Shakespeare reference, and two because Nick Meyer directed it. TWOK was number two for me, go figure. Go Nick! Will someone please call him!?!

This definitely wasnt an action movie. I loved it because it was the first, and it ha a very serious mood about it. The opening Klingon battle scene and music was great. Cheesy by todays standards, but nonetheless top notch.

Surely "The Cage" has to be included as well? This is a great episode gdog. I hope they included it.
-
Very much agree with Redemption, 1&2. :o
ANd as far movies go, the beginning of STMP was the best Klingon mood music ever.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

And everytime he does say "what the hell" he dets this weird squinty eye thing goin' on. Just for a split second though.

Swaggering into the unknown, gut and all, each week. I loved it!
Long live Kirk!

I think they would enjoy us militarily, but think we fall short of the mark on every campaign. That we just dont go far enough to get the job done. We'd have to take lessons.
-
Even though the story was chopped, I went with "City". Cant get much better.

DS9, whiloe not my favorite was the darkest of all the series I think. I can appreciate that. I have several episodes that I call "classic" because of just that aspect.

Walk tall and carry a big stick. I always tear up when I hear that.

In lieu of not having an aging Excelsior class to vote for, I chose the Ambassador class. It has the elements of pre-Galaxy class and still retains some identity of the Excelsior class.

It may not be right, but sometimes you have to do unto others, before they do unto you!

A very close second to Balance of Terror. Agreed.

I think Trek represents the hopes for the future of thousands of people, past and present. Too bad it's not available all over the world.
-
This episode had far more talent and emotion and drama. Basically much more thought put into it than most. I have great memories growing up watching Trek, and this episode just made it all the better as a first exposure to Sci-Fi.

Granted, Rand, was not a major character, but she was in enough to bring into the movie series.
Rand and Leslie should be on the list

The Klingon who played Arn Darvin I think his name was, in Trouble with Tribbles.
He was an annoying little man.
Enterprise should change designations
in Star Trek: Enterprise

According to the histories, this should hold true. You're completely right. But Enterprise has decided in its run, to rewrite some of those histories, so who the heck knows, but I agree with you.
