Something else to add to this. If you lose your sense of smell, and I say this because it has been shown in the past, the taste buds can adapt to sensing some smells, now altought this is a learned function, its socialibly not the "norm" to go around acting like reptiles sensing for food in the air.
Just a though

Something just occureed to me as I was reading this post. There are to things that were not mentioned, (now remember this is Macro, not Micro Dynamics)
and they are Gravity/ Magnetic field ( without which scents/ smells
would float off into space)
Atmosphere( without which air currents would not be produced)
Sorry I'm on my 3'rd cup of coffee right now

Now,
I don't know many of you yet. But I hope that I will. I'm not sure how many people read books but I felt I would share this one with y'all <_< any way here it goes>
Last year, A book came out that I had really wanted to get; the name of the book: A short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson.
It covers everything in science to include it history, who did what and so on. The covers: Astronomy, Chem, Geology, Physics, palaeontology, Biology, Origins of the earth, Evolution, etc. The list just doesn't stop there right now I'm in the section called the rise of life, which covers the theory of life rising from protein chains which formed in water???? Very interesting as well as very entertaining sections. a Must read. Front to back it's 546 pages. Now for the down side, cost: $27.50 us but well worth it, especially if you know anyone who has questions about these topics or is intending on RPG'g a science type (ie: white-wolf mage, etc)
It is WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!!!!!

Now that is intersting. I just hope they can figure it out. There are many children who should live normal lives and not be bothered by geriatric breakdowns.
