  1. I left because all of the arguing and name calling (particularly from some guy called wolf trek.) Also the spamming and for some reason the perception that everyone had on Enterprise. Everyday I would go there and they would complain about something on Enterprise. Sometimes I agreed but most of the time I just wanted to say "quit your whining...it's not that bad!"

  2. Hey I liked the television movie. It worked off the established history and not the rejected script where The Doctor and Master were really brothers and Daleks were just like Cyberman. But I do agree with you that it would be great to have Dr Who back on the airwaves again. Maybe in a form of a direct to video or a really really low budget public television production. Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) did a parody not too long ago, I haven't seen it but other Dr Who fans I've talked to say it's pretty good.

  3. Loved the Khan books and got a kick out of the Shatner books where Kirk is ressurected (although "Perserver" left me scratching my head.) I really enjoyed the two part Brave and the Bold series because in the final installment they had a huge crossover. I love huge crossovers.

A section on this board for the star trek books would be cool because a lot of good ones are coming out this summer (and when I mean good ones I mean crossovers...what can I say, I'm obsessed.)

  4.

I just bought Groom Lake, the Full moon film directed by William Shatner, and I have to say...as much as I like William Shatner the actor, author and some times director...I really didn't like the movie. Maybe because it was done by Full Moon so the film had an extreme low budget production value (althought I did enjoy a number of films that FM has done in the past "Puppet Master," "Dollman vs Demonic Toys", "Oblivion", etc..) But Groom Lake was really a bad movie. In some ways I see it as the "Plan Nine from Outer Space" of the 21st century (I liked Plan Nine better .) Of course I don't mean to knock William Shatner as a director. I'm sure with the right production value he can make a supremely cool film. But like in Star Trek V, other factors seem to get in the way for him to produce a great piece of work. That's my opinion what does everyone else think?

btw: I also bought a copy of "Free Enterprise" and thought it was excellent.
