  1. During the Dominion War Sienar was first officer aboard the USS Surak. He was considered by many to be the epitome of Vulcan self discipline. Then while the ship was tracking down a Klingon suspected of aiding the Dominion Sienar was forced to mind meld with the alleged traitor. A Klingon former commander named Raktag. Raktag was dying and refused to answer any of the Vulcan officers questions. Believing that the Klingon had disable codes for a nano virus spreading bomb Sienar melded and in the midst of the meld Raktag died.

Sienar returned to the Surak, and in a very short time was noticed to be behaving visibly strangely. Arguing with himself in Vulcan and Klingon, punching walls, showing up for his shifts unkempt. The final straw was when Sienar attempted to take control of the ship, declaring that he had to clear his name and restore his family's honor. He was subdued and sent to the Surak Center For The Restoration Of Wellness, on Vulcan. There he spent the rest of the war. Now an old acquaintance has come to tell Sienar to be on his best behavior as he's about to be let out. What's more he's been chosen to Captain an experimental vessel with an experimental crew.

There's just one problem. How does he keep the angry dead Klingon howling in the back of his head from causing more trouble like before?

Well I guess you're just going to have to read Star Trek: Restoration Book one, Redemption to find out.

  2. The Dominion War has left both the United Federation of Planets and Starfleet deeply affected institutions. The War has taken a toll not merely in lives but in the sanity and well being of a great many sentients. Many are left uncertain of what the UFP or the Starfleet, does or should stand for. The answer? The crew of the USS Hermes Trimegestus. Part of the controversial Prometheus class, the Hermes has been refitted. Changed from a simple war ship into a bold new idea. A ship of the line designed to carry out multiple missions in a wider area of space. Taking advantage of the the ships ability to split into three parts Starfleet intends to use the Hermes for a variety of missions to difficult for any single starship to tackle. To further underscore Starfleets intention of returing to peaceful exploration, and to rebuilding a nearly shattered and still fragile galaxy they have chosen to crew the Hermes with beings in need of a second chance. From a Vulcan captain recovering from a nervous breakdown, to a science officer returned from the dead. The only problem, is that a foe only recently defeated has left behind a fail safe to guarentee that rather than rising like a Phoenix from the ashes the Federation will fall like Icarus.

Stay tuned to this board for crew member intro's and profiles, followed by the first story arc. Redemption.
