I agree with allot of what you say U. H. however the weapons on their ships are for defence. It would not be very logical to fly around the galaxy if you can't defend yourself. Also, it is explained in Trek that Vulcans were a warlike race and without contolling their emotions they would be as erratic as well should we say modern day humans.? It would seem to me we don't contol our emotions as a race very well and if you don't believe me, just watch the news.

4 - 6 hours a night. Allot of the times I have trouble falling asleep (mostly because of back pain). I very rarley get to take a nap because of kids or kids mom yelling at kids or kids yelling at each other or somebody yelling about something. Ahhhhhhhhhh! If I do take a nap it's hard for me to wake up, because it takes me so long to get to sleep. I need a nice long vacation!

It has been a long time since I've seen that movie doc. I do like it but am going to have to watch it again in order to compare it to Trek. I'll have to go see if Wal-.... has a copy tonight.

Maybe that might help ratings. I have been asking everyone if they are not watching TV on the time Ent is on to turn their TV on and just leave the room and go about their business...just doing my part.

I voted Spock, because it was the only scene to make me cry. Followed by a close McCoys father, very emotional.

The map is an awesume addition to this site! Welcome to the Sunflower state Valeris, if you live in a major city I may be able to help pinpoint your location in Kansas, as I have lived here my entire life. (I know I know how many major cities can Kansas have right?) I just had to add that for anyone who wanted to make a Wizard of Oz crack. Hehe

I named my second daughter Beverly Deanne. Which is a beautiful name anyway. I always said that I would name one of my children after a Trek character and since my wife would not go for Spock for our son I chose that name. Very few people get it, however some people have heard the name and asked if my wife or I was a Trek fan. I was just curious is anybody named after or has named someone after a Trek character besides myself?

Well, it was a cute dog. And the good dog still is, but if I had some little mut trying to bite and snarl and grab at my ankles I don't know what I'd do. Did they ever try to form those two back together again like they did Kirk? Or did they just let them die?
