I think what we saw in the finale was WWII and not an alternate history where the Nazis won.  The airplanes that attacked the shuttlepod were definitley from the 40's and the field hospital Archer was at didn't have any advanced technology.

 

I'm pretty sure the Temporal Cold War, the Suliban, and Future Guy are involved.

It has to be alternate. There were no aliens during WW2. And no alien that was in Nazi uniform.

But if the timeline changes that would/could change as well.

That's why it's alternate story.

After further review (Rewatching the episode), I have determined that in fact Archer is NOT in San Francisco. two reasons: it wasn't raining in SF (That's a surprise, from what I know), and the aircraft attacking the shuttle DID have American markings.

Maybe it was an American plane, but it probably was Nazis since those Nazis conquered Earth.

You know from Star Trek Elite Force the soldiers have that transporter buffer that switches their weapons? Like when they take off or put on their helmets? And when they change weapons they kind of have that transporter effect.
