HRH The KING 0 Posted June 8, 2005 A comedy episode. First, the Ferengi were hilarious in this episode. But one thing bothers His Royal Highness. How do a bunch of braindead inept Ferengi on an old Klingon Bird Of Prey manage to take over a Galaxy Class Starship? If it were the Defiant, Sisko would have smoked them all. The performance of the "kids" was OK, though the kid that played Picard had the worst English accent in history. And what was the deal with Alexander's crappy remote control car? Dude, if you want a cool RC, then buy a Ferrari F1. Rating =
Stephen of Borg 2 Posted March 17, 2006 I love this episode, the actors who play the young crew are excellent. When Miles is talking to Keiko, it's a very believable scene and Caroline does a great job ***** out of *****
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted December 12, 2007 A good ep. The little Picard has the Captain down pat.
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted January 12, 2008 5. The only downside for me was that this really showed the Ferengi at their most menacing, which they were originally supposed to be, but then they slid back into the buffoonery with which they are commonly portrayed. The kids were actually quite good. Young Keiko was the best done, followed by Young Picard whose only trouble was really in saying "Picard" the way Stewart does. Young Guinan was done fairly well, though she didn't capture the aloof, listening traits that Whoopi brought. Young Ro Laren was just the hardest to do, and the actress did all she could with it, but that was just a difficult character to pull off. Solid episode.
