Guest Ktrek Posted February 24, 2004 It's called a "hook" and the only think the advertisers are interested in doing is baiting you to watch the show. WB, FOX, CBS, NBC, and ABC all use the same tactics. They usually find something just a little juicy to spark your interest and hope you tune in.
