just how large are the various fleets?

Does anyone know if anything regarding the size and/or strength of starfleet,klingon defense force, romulan imperial fleet,etc.;has been established. (any information would be appreciated and,if you could, please list the source)

I'm also open to speculation,but please give your reasoning as well.

good question, i like statistics too. i don't know off-hand, but i think the best place to look would be towards the end of the last season (seven) -during the dominion war- of ds9. i am sure there were some figures mentioned there to give u an idea.
