VaBeachGuy 12 Posted January 16, 2004 This is posted in behalf of Newstar, one of our members that is having trouble posting. ENTERPRISE Project is sponsoring Valentine Project 2004 from February 1through 14. Every "Star Trek: Enterprise" fan is asked to send one or more valentines to UPN/Viacom executives and Paramount executives. The goal is to send at least 1,000 valentines to Viacom to show that Nielsen ratings don't give a complete viewership picture. The target recipients of these "I love ENTERPRISE" valentine messages are UPN President Dawn Ostroff and CBS President Les Moonves, who ultimately determine the series renewal this spring. Fans are also urged to send valentines to the producers, cast, and crew of the series at Paramount to express their fondness for the show and for its creative staff and talent. However, if fans only have time to send one valentine, said ENTERPRISE Project founder MJ Rogers, "Please target Ms. Ostroff or Mr. Moonves. They're the ones who really need to know how many viewers are out there during February sweeps." Ms. Ostroff's address is: Dawn Tarnofsky-Ostroff - President United Paramount Network 11800 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90025 Mr. Moonves' address is: Mr. Leslie Moonves President and CEO CBS Television CBS Television City 7800 W Beverly Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90036 For more information about The Enterprise Project, visit http://www.enterpriseproject.org Thanks! BakulaBabe 2 Posted January 16, 2004 Interesting idea. I'll be stocking up on Valentines this season - luckily I can get them at a discount where I work!
MoulinRouge 0 Posted January 16, 2004 (edited) I'm so there, guy. I have Moonves and Ostroff's snail mail addys memorized. I've written them before a time or two. Good news anyway, folks. The fast nationals actually produced better numbers for "Chosen Realm" than the overnights. It went back up to a 2.7/4 final rating, which is close to Rajiin type ratings. Unheard of after a long break for an ST show. Let's not give up. Edited January 16, 2004 by MoulinRouge
Indy 8 Posted January 24, 2004 Wow, what an interesting idea. A little different than the typical letter-writing campaign. B) I'm in!
