ARMS 0 Posted December 16, 2003 If the Borg assimilated a joined Trill, would they assimilate the trills knowledge or could the Trill conseal the knowledge from the collective, as we have seen if a trill is unjoined the host looses the knowledge, so could a symbiant hide knowledge from rthe collective or would the nanoprobes make sure it didnt? Takara_Soong 4 Posted December 17, 2003 I think if a Trill were assimilated it would be both host and symbiant. In that situation they would still be joined so unless the symbiant were removed before assimilation then the symbiant's memories would become part of the collective. ARMS 0 Posted December 17, 2003 Ok then, i assume that each Borg drones brain is like memory space for the collective, so if the Borg assimilated a joined Trill, would they use its brain aswell as the hosts?
Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted December 17, 2003 Hmm... I never thought of a joined Trill, like Jadzia Dax, having two brains and such. Yeah, the Borg would assimilate both host and symbiont.
