Prologe: The year is 2267 the same year that the planet killer destroyed the Constellation. But this is first. Starfleet had recently discovered a way to break the warp 8.2 barrier. This is where it begins... Chapter 1: Destruction Captain Even Foster sat on the bridge of his ship the U.S.S. Sverdolv excited. His ship at the moment was the test bed for the new PB-51 series warp engines. So far they were testing the quickness of acceleration. It got them to the standard cruising speed of warp 4 in 1.51 seconds. If this was successful, it could put a whole new spin for warp drive for the 23rd century. Ge was eager to test maximum warp. He pulled out his communicator. "Foster to Johnson" the sound of his chief engineer L.t. Robert Johnson came after a short pause. "Johnson here." "When can we test maximum warp?" Foster asked.
