La-La Land Records will mark its tenth anniversary with a celebration to be held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood featuring the new Star Trek Original Series Soundtrack Collection.

The celebration will include the screening of two classic Star Trek episodes following by a special discussion featuring Trek composers and writers.

The Star Trek: The Original Series Soundtrack Celebration will take place on December 3, 2012 at 7:30 PM, and admission to the event is free.

The night will begin with the screening of Mirror, Mirror and Amok Time. After the screening, a special discussion will include original series composer Gerald Fried and writer David Gerrold, and will be hosted by Trek music writer and original series soundtrack set co-producer Jeff Bond.

Those in attendance will receive a free small popcorn and soda. There will also be a T-shirt giveaway and, according to the press release, “more!”

Fans wishing to purchase The Star Trek Original Series Soundtrack Collection a day ahead of its December 4 release will be able to do so at the event. The price for the set is $225.00, which includes tax.
