Vic 17 Posted July 19, 2012 Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s LeVar Burton visitied the White House Briefing Room yesterday. The actor was there to interview Press Secretary Jay Carney for a segment to be used on a Reading Rainbow app. The interview will be part of a “video field trip” that will be available courtesy of the Reading Rainbow iPad app, which was released last month. Carney was asked why he loves being the press secretary. “I love my job because I have the incredible honor to speak for the President,” said Carney. “It’s a great honor and a great job.” Burton did not see President Obama while at the White House.
