Vic 17 Posted December 8, 2011 Now that Benecio Del Toro is definitely out for Star Trek 2, other actors are being eyed for the role of the villain in Star Trek 2. Time is growing short, with filming to commence next month, so J.J. Abrams has lined up several other actors in hopes of finding his villain. Two candidates are being evaluated; Jordi Molla (Colombiana) and Edgar Ramirez (Carlos). Ramirez is said to be the frontrunner, and he will be testing for the role via Skype this week. There is still no word as to whether the actor chosen will be playing Khan or some other role. View the full article

A l t e r E g o 9 Posted December 8, 2011 Me too, Kor. Redoing Khan will prove a lack of vision for the nu-verse from the creators beyond the initial story. I may bail, even become a basher, if they go that route.

It's too late to start expecting them to come up with "something original". Edited December 16, 2011 by GhostofMajorHayes
