Vic 17 Posted December 5, 2011 Peter Weller, best-known to movie fans for his roles in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension and the first two RoboCop movies, will be joining Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and the rest in Star Trek 2. The role is said to be a “principal role,” according to Deadline, but as to be expected, no details have been given. Weller has been seen in Star Trek before. He played John Frederick Paxton in Star Trek: Enterprise (Terra Prime, Demons), where he was the xenophobic chief administrator of Luna’s Orpheus Mining Colony. Paxton created a half-Vulcan, half-Human baby using DNA from Trip Tucker and T’Pol.
