Vic 17 Posted October 7, 2011 A new expansion set will be released for the Star Trek Expeditions cooperative mission game. Star Trek Expeditions released in June, and in the game, the crew of the USS Enterprise was on the planet Nibia to facilitate the entrance of Nibia into the United Federation of Planets. But when they got there, all was not as it should have been; the planet was in chaos and there was the threat of a Klingon invasion. In Star Trek Expeditions, players take on the roles of Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Uhura; trying to solve the problems that beset Nibia before the Klingons arrive to blast the Enterprise out of space. Now, in the Expansion Set, due to be released on November 9, players will have three new crewmembers added to the game; Sulu, Scotty and Chekov. Each player has their “own unique talents and skills” to bring to the game. In addition, the Expansion Set permits players to add one more character on the away mission, bringing the total to five characters.
