On September 8, officially beginning the 45th anniversary of Star Trek, Trek fans will be able to upload images to be included as part of three officially licensed Star Trek photo mosaics. These images will then be used to re-create Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock and the U.S.S. Enterprise on separate mosaic photos, which will be offered as limited-edition prints to those fans participating. “Only 2,500 fans can submit images for and own each individual Star Trek photo mosaic; 1,701 can submit images for and own the Deluxe Edition Set featuring all three photos.” “We’re so excited to offer this unique way to mark Star Trek’s 45th anniversary,” said Fan Mosaics’ Director of Fan & Brand Development Rob Hixenbaugh.” Star Trek fans are so passionate and so involved with the characters and the actors who portrayed them, and these photo mosaic projects take that involvement one step further.
