Vic 17 Posted January 20, 2011 The pilot for Ron Moore‘s (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager) magic drama (with a working title of 17th Precinct) has been picked up by NBC. 17th Precinct is an ensemble police drama, set in the fictional town of Excelsior where the world is ruled by magic, not science. The drama has been described as an “adult Harry Potter-type” show. Moore has other projects in the pipeline, including The McCulloch, about men and women on a fictional Coast Guard cutter who travel around the world.
