Burton tweeted the news to his followers, saying “In this episode of @nbccommunity I play … #noaudition necessary” and Burton included a picture, seen here, in which the cast sheet for the episode is shown with Burton’s character is listed as “himself.” Community is about a group of student misfits attending a Greendale Community College.
