Vic 17 Posted December 10, 2010 Chris Hemsworth, best-known to Star Trek fans for his role as George Kirk, father of James T. Kirk, can be seen for the first time as Thor in a newly-released poster. Like with the Star Trek reboot, those involved with Thor are hoping to draw in new fans. “You’ve got to look after the fans,” said Hemsworth, “but you’ve got to make the film appealing to audiences outside of the fan base too.” Thor will open in May of 2011.
