Do Star Trek conventions happen in Africa?

More specifically South Africa....

I haven't seen anything at the sites I visit that list conventions about any in South Africa. I've found a webpage for an organization called Science Fiction South Africa which is the longest running science fiction club in South Africa. They may be able to offer more help on this matter although going from their website it doesn't appear that there have been any conventions which have had Trek guests there. From what I read while googling for info on this topic, it appears that many people go to the conventions held in Australia.
