Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted September 8, 2003 I was just thinking, I love seeing over-the-top villians in movies and love the over acting on the villians part, especially when it's mover over the top than Shatner! Here's some examples: All of the Trek movie villians Ra - Stargate Dr. Smith - Lost in Space Biff and family - Back to the Future - The Trilogy Zuel and Vego - Ghostbusters 1&2 Welp, do you like over-the-top villians? If so, who are they and include the name of the movie they were in. Also, while we're at it, do you think the Trek movie villians are over the top? I do, and I'm glad they are! Shinzon's not my favorite Trek movie villian, but he's the most dramatic of them all!
Indy 8 Posted September 8, 2003 The most over the top villain I can think of right now is Darh Vader. Oh, and that Darth Maul guy, he was pretty over the top too.
3 of 7 0 Posted September 8, 2003 Excuse me, what does "over the top" means? It is the first time I hear about it.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted September 8, 2003 "Over the top" is just another way of saying over-acting so much that it seems bad. However, I love it when villians act that way! :(
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted September 8, 2003 My favorite (recent) over the top performance was the Green Goblin in Spiderman.
Admiral Kirk 1 Posted September 8, 2003 I agree with the Green Goblin being over the top. Bullseye in the DareDevil movie was oveer the top too.
APW 0 Posted September 8, 2003 (edited) There is a place in sci-fi for the over-the-top villains (and heroes, see:James T Kirk).. one of my favorite baddies was John Callicos' character on Battlestar Gallactica.
