Fire damages author Clancy's home

A fire on Saturday caused about $20,000 in damage to the home of Tom Clancy, a best-selling author of political thrillers, authorities said.

I'm glad to hear that no one was hurt. Clancy is an entertaining author that is popular with many readers at our library. I often enjoy his books when I'm on vacation and needing a good read.
