Maintaining secrecy in this age of cellphone and digital cameras, as well as the internet, is proving to be a tricky business for Paramount.

As reported by IO9.com, pictures from the new Star Trek movie are circulating around the Internet in spite of the best efforts of the studio to suppress them.

Nine pictures appeared at aintitcool.com, but were removed after they received a call for Paramount. They weren't the only site to have the pictures for a short while before taking them down or disabling the link. Even so, the pictures are still popping up and can still be seen at here as well as found in a Google search.

Four of the pictures show the exterior of a shuttlecraft. The shuttlecraft appears to be in a facility where such craft are constructed and maintenance is done on them. There is a very good shot of the exterior of the shuttlecraft in one of the pictures. In another picture, in addition to the shuttlecraft, one sees workers and what appears to be several Starfleet personnel in the wine-colored uniforms seen in previous spy photos. One photo shows the entrance to the shuttlecraft.

Three photos are interior shots of the shuttlecraft. One shows a row of grey seats, with harnesses to restrain passengers. Another shot shows what appears to be a console. It is green in color with gray and black panels. There are some switches and dials on the console. The third shot is blurred, but it is another shot of the interior of the shuttlecraft.

The last two photos are: one of a sign saying "United Federation of Planets" Starfleet Operations. Fueling Gantry Type 448" with directions on usage; and finally, what appears to be a Starfleet uniform, light gray in color with a gold-colored Starfleet insignia on the upper left side of the uniform.
