Three words: Benders Big Bore

 

South Parks "Imaginationland" was better.

 

Ok so it had a few classic moments and the twist at the end was surprising but I literally had to splash some water on my face half way through to wake up. It probably would have fared better as 2 or at most, 3 parter.

I agree that it may have been a little on the long side and I wasn't big on some of the retcon stuff but I think BBS still had the same sense of humour the series did with an excellent plot and the right mix of sentimentality. I eagerly await The Beast with a Billion Backs.

I thought it was pretty good. Especially all the tie-ins with previous events, like New York being destroyed by lasers and Fry's dog Seymour being flash fossilized. And there's a few "hidden" references in there, as well. Like Cartman's head in a jar.
